AUTONOMOUS MEDICAL CODING

mCoder™

An AI solution which automatically infers medical codes from clinician notes for billing the insurance provider. Traditionally, medical coding a batch of charts can takes days or weeks, and can be very costly. With mCoder™, a significant portion can be done in seconds, and at a fraction of traditional costs.

The input is one or more clinician notes in the HL7 file format. De-identification can occur in the Data Connector stage.

The output for a given chart is available in JSON or CSV format, and may contain either the medical codes (CPT, ICD-10, Modifiers and PQRS); or, a recommendation that your coding team process the chart instead of AI, with reasons why.

The I/O is facilitated via API, SFTP, and / or direct processing from your AWS S3 bucket.

The output is an online, interactive dashboard experience, and / or, a PDF report representing the information in the dashboard.

To get started with Minset, you may decide first if you would like to optionally fine-tune the system's AI models to your dataset. The advantage of doing so is that fine-tuning typically yields superior accuracy. This works intuitively as the solutions are more in tune with your data and therefore, the way you do business.

The Minset Data Connector performs typical ETL (extract, transform, load) actions to enable your dataset to work within the Minset system. Additionally it provides an opportunity to perform de-identification.
